CLAUDIA SCHIFFER GOING TO GIVE BIRTH THIRD CHILD

CLAUDIA Schiffer is pregnant with her third child.

The German supermodel — who has two children, Caspar, six, and five-year-old Clementine, with her film producer husband Michael Vaughn — announced Friday she is five-and-a-half months into her pregnancy and is due to deliver the tot in May.

“We are delighted with the news and can’t wait to add to our family,” Claudia said.

The 39-year-old runway star — who is one of the world’s most successful models — has previously spoken about how motherhood changed her entire attitude to her career.

“I used to work every single day and travel round the world,” she said. “I worked weekends, I never took one second off. When I met my husband I said, ‘You know what, this is important. I’m not going to work weekends any more.’ And when I had kids, I became even more careful. Modelling work is fine because you can do one day here, two days there, you’re never long gone.”

Claudia and Michael, 38, married in May 2002.
